Starter Packs

Starter Packs are a discounted set of Jobs and Ability Cards, designed to help a player get a head start at the beginning of the game.

Acquisition

• Acquired from the "Starter Packs" Greater Summon at the price of 1500 Magicite (3 Summon Tickets) each.
  • This summon is only available for the first 30 days after creating a new account.
  • However, the Starter Pack Greater Summon is available to all players in the first month after its debut.

Details

• This is a box-type summon, meaning you will receive a random pack from the available pool and the pack will be removed from the available pool.
  • Unlike other box-type summons, once all packs have been pulled, the Starter Packs banner will disappear from the Summons tab.
• The job cards have all skill panels unlocked, and the ability cards will be summoned as ★4 cards with max card level, max ability level, all skillseeds unlocked, and all extra skills unlocked.
• If you draw a pack that includes a job you already possess, you will receive a Growstar instead of the job. Also, please note that this summon will not unlock the skill panels of any jobs you have previously obtained.
• No Supreme cards, Legend jobs, or other bonus ability cards will be included.

Tips

These are a great deal, even for veteran players!

• You get 6 Ability Cards AND a Job for half the cost!
• If you don't have those Ability Cards, you get them fully boosted at ★4!
• If you have those Ability Cards at ★3, this is a free upgrade without spending Growstars!
• If you have those Ability Cards at ★4 - ★5, you can use this new card as a great Fusion card to boost your existing copies... or you can sell the lesser copies for Ability Tickets.
• Growstars are normally available in the Item Shop for Gil x1500... the same cost as these packs. Even if you already have the jobs, you can get that Growstar with 6 bonus cards!

These are the current starter packs, updated in August 2019 with newer cards on the same jobs.

Warrior pack: Sword Saint

• Job: Sword Saint --  Warrior

• Phantom Train: FFVI -- high area Attack
• Oberon -- high area Attack
• Stilva: FFVII -- area Attack/Break + ailments
• Victoria -- single-target Attack/Break + ailments
• Neo Bahamut -- ailments

Mage pack: Sage

• Job: Sage --  Mage
• Multiplayer Role:  Attacker or  Healer

• Great Tortoise -- area Break + ailments
• Gaia -- Heartshift +  Regen

Mage pack: Vesna Krasna

• Job: Vesna Krasna --  Meia (Mage)
• Multiplayer Role:  Attacker

• Shoopuf: FFX -- area Attack/Break
• Murussu: FFX -- high area Attack
• YAT-99: FFX -- single Attack/Break
• Yagudo: FFXI -- high single Break
• Knights of the Round: FFVII -- offensive boons

Monk pack: Master Monk

• Job: Master Monk --  Monk
• Multiplayer Role:  Breaker or  Attacker

Early 2019 Packs

These packs were available Feb-July 2019, and offered a full revision with a more current and relevant set of jobs and abilities.

Monk pack: Master Monk

• Job: Master Monk --  Monk
• Multiplayer Role:  Breaker or  Attacker

• Yin & Yang, Lugae & Barnabas, Chadarnook, Apollo, The Undying: FFXII

2017-2018 Packs

These packs were offered from August 2017 through January 2019. While the packs are no longer available, all of the Jobs are obtainable from the normal Greater Summons, and the Ability Cards can be purchased in the Ability Shop.

Warrior pack: Dragoon

• Dragoon ( Warrior  Breaker) – Jump: Single-target attack. Fly up to the heavens to skewer a foe from above.
• Bahamut, Geryon, Syldra, Onion Knight, Fat Chocobo

Ranger pack: Dancer

• Dancer ( Ranger  Healer) – Danse Macabre: Single-target attack. Performs a graceful and deadly dance, striking a foe multiple times.
• Tempest, Valkyrie, Griffon, Hollofernyiges, Lancelot

Mage pack: Scholar

• Scholar ( Mage  Defender) – Scan: Single-target attack. Analyze an enemy, increasing their elemental weakness.
• Ashura, Famfrit, Shiva, Sylph, Hades
