The Pure Dark is one of the rare "gold mutant" fiends in Mobius Final Fantasy. It first appears in Chapter 5: The First Warrior, Part 1.
Like the other gold mutants, this rare fiend has a higher break gauge than its brethren, but a low HP. In most cases it's easy to kill without ever breaking it.
