Gigantuar Terrace: Regrowth is the second bonus region, released on August 1st, 2017.[1] It is an overhaul of the Gigantuar Terrace region.
- Besides the normal Cactuar and Gigantuar cards dropped here, this region gives very high amounts of Skillseeds,
Gil, and EXP. Come in with your best weapons and abilities equipped with:
- Skillseed Up (make sure Hard Mode is on!)
- EXP Up
- Gil Up
- Gigantuars also have a chance to drop
Gigantuar Bulb★3 -- essential for upgrading your Ability Cards to ★5.
With the 2018 removal of the Exploration regions, this is the only region with a consistent appearance for the Gold Mutant fiends. While you can only climb a Gigantuar path once for each 3x Mystic Tablet you spend, you can hit the first area (with Gold Mutants only) as many times as you like within the time limit.
- Tip: Skillseeds flow fairly plentiful on all branches, but the Gil and EXP are dramatically higher on the Gold and Metal branches. Concentrate on those.
Story[]
Wol shows up on the plateau, led there by Echo. It's a Cactuar Fiesta! Lots of loot to gather, if Wol brings down the big ones! Wol makes an (extremely rare) joke about cooking them up, which completely throws off Echo's swagger. Score one for Wol.

Time Limit[]
On initial entry, all paths are open. Choosing a path by clearing the Attack of the Metal Gigantuar, Attack of the Gigantuar, or Attack of the Gold Gigantuar area will remove the route between the starting area and the two areas that weren't chosen. Upon clearing the Battle for Supremacy area of the chosen path, players are sent back to the starting area. Additionally, all areas and routes are reverted back to their original state, and the three starting routes become locked. Players may choose to unlock one of these locked routes by spending 3 more Mystic Tablets, but the initial 30 minute timer will not be reset.

There are 10 areas and 0 treasure chests. On any one cycle, you can only 4 of the 10 areas, unless you spend more Mystic Tablets.
On each area with a Gigantuar sighting, the first two skirmishes have a chance to spawn a Gigantuar. The third skirmish will always spawn a Gigantuar.

These locks will only appear after clearing Metal Gigantuar Battle for Supremacy, Gigantuar Battle for Supremacy, or Gold Gigantuar Battle for Supremacy. Unlocking any route will remove the routes (and their locks) that were not unlocked.

- May 30th, 2018 update — Players are sent back to the first area upon clearing the final area, and the 3 starting routes become locked. Locks require 3 Mystic Tablet to remove, and only one path may be chosen. 30 minute timer does not reset. Prior to this update, players were able to farm the final area within the time limit.
