Summer Resort is a series of special Events and activities offered in July of 2018, between Acts 1 and 2. Much of it is centered around the sort of activities that normally go on during Summer Vacation.

Use the 
Melon Mashing Tickets to make a run up the beach towards the melon at the center. A correct attack steers you closer, but a wrong attack steers you away. Nab the center melon for a high-Magicite reward!

Take the special Summer Memories card -- or your own cards -- and inflict as much damage as you can on the Firecracker Gigantuar in 3 turns. If you can throw over 20 million damage, you get Pnuemas!

- receive Aquamoogle (Card) and use it to help in your dash through this region.
Smash the enemies present in the displayed number of turns or less to win this race! But be careful, because the Aquamoogle is cheering you from right next to the fiends... and he'll impede your progress if you damage him too much! Use the Aquamoogle card to heal him if you need it.

Summer Resort: Hiking[]

- receive BBQ Tonberry (Card), useful for killing fiends here until you have better cards of your own.
Work your way up the mountain through heavy fire (10-16 battles per area!) with heavy requirements (30-50 Stamina per area!). The more difficult trails will also allow less Ability Cards, so you'll have an even harder time wiping out your foes!

Dive your way down to the depths of the Sea to gain fabulous prizes. There is no healing in this region, so you'll need to avoid damage at all costs. Cards with 
Wall spells will be an absolute essential! Paths to the good stuff will open if you have gathered at least 50x of each of the Summer Memories components -- Echo, Meia, and Sarah -- during your trips through the event.

- A different elemental affinity each week -- Fire, Wind, Earth, Water, Light, Dark -- each at ★3 - ★5
- Prizes in the Item Exchange for those who collect the Bomb's components.
- More components for the player that lands the killing blow! The Bomb's health gauge will be greyed out in its lower half, so you can't tell exactly how close you are.
- Summer Memories cards gathered during the Summer Resort events can be used here to strengthen players and weaken the Bomb!

This is a promotional campaign encouraging people to take on the Melon Bomb (Sicarius) during its first two weeks in multiplayer. Depending on how many times the Bomb is defeated, all players receive:

A Battle Tower event, with the reappearance of Ultros and Typhon. This one can only be done with female Job Cards, so you're limited to Meia, Sarah, Lightning and Y'shtola.
