The Final Fantasy VII Collaboration Event is a two-month-long celebration of Final Fantasy VII, presented as a content crossover with Mobius Final Fantasy. Originally running from Feb 7 to April 1, 2017, the event has had a "return" with updated prizes from Dec 2, 2017 to Jan 31, 2018.

The event takes VII's main character Cloud and sets him in a new adventure with Mobius' main character Wol.

The total event stretches across five different event regions, batches of summoned Heroes and Abilities, new Jobs, and many extra rewards and gifts.

Story Event: Eclipse Contact[edit | edit source]

The main event consists of a central event area "Midgar" and seven "Mako Reactor" dungeon levels. The player starts in Midgar, then moves forward to each Reactor as the story progresses. As each Reactor is finished, the player returns to Midgar for a challenge and rewards.
