A mysterious city called "Midgar" has suddenly appeared in Palamecia along with a young man that calls himself "Cloud."
Event Description

Eclipse Contact is a crossover event in Mobius Final Fantasy consisting of a hub region and seven dungeon regions. It's part of the Final Fantasy VII Collaboration Event, and features a story involving FFVII's main character Cloud Strife.

This event first appeared in Feb-Mar 2017, with return appearances in Dec 2017 and Dec 2018 that updated the prizes and added a new "Back Street" section to Midgar.

Duration -- Two months.

How To Participate[edit | edit source]

  • Select "Midgar" from the world map to begin the story. Mako Reactor regions will appear as the story progresses.
  • The world map can be accessed upon completion of Chapter 1: Blank Slate.

The event is separated into three parts:

Introduces the central city of Midgar, along with its Mako Reactors.

Open:

Challenge areas open in Midgar for each Reactor completed.

Starts one week later. The previous Reactors remain open, with these additional regions:

Starts two weeks after the event begins. All previous regions remain open, and the event completes with:

Rewards[edit | edit source]

  • Masamune -- Warrior weapon. Given as a prize for starting the event. Upgrades are obtained by completing the challenge areas in Midgar after each Reactor is completed.
  • Aerith Echo -- a Companion Spirit, reward for completing Midgar challenge Reactor 3.
  • Umbrella -- Mage weapon. Weapon and upgrades are rewards for completing Back Street areas in Midgar. (new for Dec 2017)
