Crossroads of Dualities
Any warrior who faces Chaos in battle learns that they will need strength beyond a mere mortal's if they hope to ever defeat him. Following the unseen voice's guidance, you set forth to find this unfound power. But remember, where the light is strong, the shadows are deeper.

Wol and Sarah's journey takes a pause of a sort, while Vox puts Wol through a new set of "trials" based on elemental affinities and job classes. This region unlocks and teaches the use of Active Job Change -- setting up a secondary job that the player can switch in mid-combat.

The region consists of 56 Locations, 3 locked routes, and 19 treasure chests.

Apex Hunting Grounds[edit | edit source]

You've completed all the challenges. The remaining areas contain strong fiends which respawn immediately. Use this to collect main target focus area attack abilities and material cards.
~ In-Game Description

With the main story completed, various elemental bosses appear on previously cleared areas. These are particularly useful for gathering Card Augmentation materials, because the bosses respawn immediately after finishing each area -- no waiting!

New challenges await you. Defeat enemies in these paths of trials to reach the apex of each discipline. Use Job Change to gain the advantage!
